Nicolaus (Dacoromanice: Nicolae) Rădescu (natus die 30 Martii 1874 in oppido Călimănești, mortuus die 16 Maii 1953 Novi Eboraci) miles et vir publicus Dacoromanicus erat.

Rădescu post scholam finitam miles factus est et anno 1898 succenturio minor nominatus. Anno 1913 Bello Balcanico Secundo interfuit et annis 1916 - 1918 Bello Orbis Terrarum I. Post bellum finitum inter alia annis 1926 - 1928 legatus militaris Romaniae Londinii fuit. Anno 1930 aetate provectus ex exercitu dimissus est.

Nunc factioni extremae dextrae favebat, sed anno 1941 contra imperium Germanorum litteras ad legatum Germaniae Manfredum de Killinger dedit. Idcirco a dictatore Ioanni Antonescu socio Germanorum in carcerem missus est. Anno 1944, cum Michael rex Romaniae die 23 Augusti novis rebus studuisset et foedus cum Unione Sovietica peteret, liberatus est. Mense Octobri eiusdem anni dux militum summus et die 6 Decembris 1944 primus minister Romaniae nominatus est. Sed die 1 Martii 1945 rex a Andrea Wyszyński, administro rerum exterarum Unionis Sovieticae, coactus est, ut Rădescu dimitteret. Petrus Groza communista eius successor factus est. Tum Rădescu in domu sua inclusus est. Die 15 Martii 1946 a latronibus communisticis acerrime verberatus est. Itaque mense Iunio eiusdem anni patriam reliquit et primo in Cyprum, deinde in CFA fugit. Ibi 1953 mortuus est. Anno 2000, postquam dictatura communistica finita est, corpus eius, ut in testamento destinaverat, in patriam rediit.
